In your Heart
David Wood once told me, "In your mind there are no answers. In your heart, there are no questions."
Do you know the difference between the thoughts in your mind and the feelings in your gut?
Are you the type who will second guess your instincts? We've all heard "go with your first instinct, it's usually right." Can you look back in your life and find any examples to disprove this?
Maybe it's just a simple difference of "knowing" and "believing". Which is the primary guiding force in your life?
It's funny how believing looks like BE LIVING.
I'd better trademark that quickly.
There are many who would live life based on what they know to be true. So to expand their life, they must expand their knowledge. Sounds good so far. But when they find something that they know to be true for them, it can send them at odds with someone who has experienced a different truth, and based on that knowing, live a different life.
In the information age, knowledge is a commodity. It's a product that is bought and sold and traded and improved upon.
Perhaps the reason we were kicked out of the Garden of Eden was because we chose Knowledge over Faith?
When will Faith become as important to us as knowledge? Most likely you are saying, "It is more important to me."
Good for you. What about your community? What about your country? What about your world?
The truth is, Faith is probably our most important asset, but we are not willing to always talk about it with our community, our country, or our world because of the pain different faiths cause each other.
Because we know which on is right? We war over the fact that we know our faith is the right one?
As my 13 year old step-son says, "That doesn't make any sense."
So which is more powerful for you? What you know or what you believe? Is your answer from fear or strength?
Can there be more than one truth?
Much love everywhere (if we seek it))
